Welcome to Lofoten Harbor! The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Lofoten Gaver og Brukskunst AS (“Lofoten Harbor”). We operate this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services, to provide you with a curated shopping experience (the “Services”). Lofoten Harbor is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) together with any policies referenced here (including our Privacy Policy and Return & Refund Policy) describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services.
By visiting, interacting with, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy [LINK]. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
SECTION 1 – ACCESS AND ACCOUNT
You represent that you are at least the age of majority in your place of residence, and you consent to allow your minor dependents to use the Services on devices you own or manage. You may be asked to provide information (e.g., email, billing, payment, and shipping details). You warrant that such information is accurate, current, and complete, and that you have the rights to provide it.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activity under your account. You may not transfer or license your account to others.
SECTION 2 – OUR PRODUCTS
We strive to represent products accurately, but actual colors/appearance can vary by device and settings. We do not warrant that products will meet your expectations or exactly match on-screen depictions. Product descriptions and availability may change at any time. We may limit quantities or refuse service to any person, geographic region, or jurisdiction.
Custom-made / print-on-demand items. Some products are produced specifically for you (e.g., via Printful). Please review our Return & Refund Policy for rules that apply to such items.
SECTION 3 – ORDERS
Your order is an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline any order at our discretion. We must receive and process payment before acceptance. Please review your order carefully; cancellations may not be possible after acceptance. If we decline or change an order, we’ll try to notify you using the contact details you provided.
Purchases are subject to our Return & Refund Policy.
You represent that purchases are for personal/household use and not for commercial resale or export.
SECTION 4 – PRICES AND BILLING
Prices, discounts, and promotions may change without notice. The price charged is the one shown at checkout when you place the order and in your confirmation email. Unless expressly stated otherwise, prices exclude taxes, shipping, handling, customs, and import charges.
You agree to provide current and accurate purchase/payment details and to update them as needed. You warrant that you are authorized to use the chosen payment method and will pay all charges, including applicable taxes and fees.
SECTION 5 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
We ship worldwide. Delivery times are estimates and not guarantees. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, or events beyond our control. Title and risk of loss pass to you when we hand the order to the carrier. Please see our Return & Refund Policy [LINK] for lost-in-transit and address/claim rules.
SECTION 6 – RENTAL PRODUCTS (E.G., BICYCLE RENTALS)
Rental items are provided for the agreed rental period and must be used responsibly and returned on time and in the condition received, normal wear excepted.

Early return: Returning a rental early does not entitle you to a refund unless we explicitly agree in writing in advance.

Defects/safety: If the rental item is defective or unsafe, stop using it and contact us immediately; our defect rules in the Return & Refund Policy apply.

You are responsible for loss or damage beyond normal wear during your rental period.
SECTION 7 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content in the Services (e.g., text, graphics, images, video, audio, design and layout) is owned by Lofoten Harbor, our affiliates, or licensors and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Except as permitted by law or with our written consent, you may not copy, modify, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from the Services.
“Lofoten Harbor” names, logos, and related marks are trademarks of Lofoten Gaver og Brukskunst AS. Shopify’s names and logos are trademarks of Shopify. Other names and logos are the property of their owners.
SECTION 8 – OPTIONAL TOOLS
We may provide access to third-party tools “as is” and “as available,” without warranties or endorsements, and without liability arising from your use. Use of such tools is at your own risk and subject to the third party’s terms.
SECTION 9 – THIRD-PARTY LINKS
The Services may contain third-party content, sites, or features. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Accessing third-party resources is at your own risk; review their terms and policies before engaging.
SECTION 10 – RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY
Lofoten Harbor is powered by Shopify. Any sales you make are with Lofoten Harbor, not Shopify. By using the Services, you acknowledge that Shopify is not responsible for your sales or any injury, damage, or loss resulting from purchased products/services, and you release Shopify and its affiliates from related claims and liabilities.
SECTION 11 – PRIVACY POLICY
Personal information we collect is subject to our Privacy Policy. Because we are hosted by Shopify, certain data is also processed by Shopify in accordance with Shopify’s privacy practices. By using the Services, you acknowledge these policies and that information may be transferred internationally as necessary to provide the Services.
SECTION 12 – FEEDBACK
If you submit reviews, ideas, or other content (“Feedback”), you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, sublicensable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and publish such Feedback for any purpose. You warrant you have the rights to submit the Feedback and that it complies with these Terms. We may, but are not obliged to, monitor or remove Feedback.
SECTION 13 – ERRORS, INACCURACIES AND OMISSIONS
Occasionally the Services may contain errors or omissions (e.g., descriptions, pricing, availability). We may correct or update information or cancel orders if information is inaccurate, at any time and without prior notice.

You may use the Services only for lawful purposes. You may not, for example, violate laws; infringe IP rights; harass or defame others; transmit malware, spam, or deceptive content; scrape or collect personal data without consent; circumvent security; or interfere with the operation of the Services. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

We may terminate or suspend access to the Services at any time in our discretion. You remain liable for amounts due up to the date of termination. Sections that by nature should survive (e.g., IP, Feedback, Disclaimers, Liability, Indemnity, Governing Law) will continue to apply.
SECTION 16 – DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
Except as expressly stated by us, the Services and all products are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind (express or implied), including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free operation.
SECTION 17 – LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lofoten Harbor and our directors, employees, agents, partners, contractors, service providers, licensors—and Shopify and its affiliates—will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or similar damages (including lost profits, data, or replacement costs) arising from your use of the Services or products, even if advised of the possibility.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory consumer-protection laws.
SECTION 18 – INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lofoten Harbor, Shopify, and our/their affiliates, officers, employees, agents, contractors, licensors, and service providers from claims and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, violation of law, or misuse of the Services.
SECTION 19 – SEVERABILITY
If any provision is unlawful or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent possible, and the remainder will remain in full force.
SECTION 20 – WAIVER; ENTIRE AGREEMENT
Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with policies posted on the site (including the Privacy Policy and Return & Refund Policy), constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services.
SECTION 21 – ASSIGNMENT
You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign or transfer our rights/obligations without notice.
SECTION 22 – GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION (GLOBAL SALES)
We sell and ship worldwide. These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway (without regard to conflict-of-law rules). If you are a consumer, you will also enjoy any mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence, and nothing in these Terms limits those rights.
You and Lofoten Harbor agree to the jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts, unless mandatory law in your country provides otherwise.
